Indic Roots introduces children to the rich cultural heritage of India through an interactive app designed around seven key themes. Through engaging artwork and simple drag-and-match games, kids can explore facets of the proud Indic legacy of art, science, and values that have persisted for thousands of years in a country with a population exceeding 1.3 billion.

The app serves as a tool to honor the generational tradition of passing down knowledge in an engaging manner. While children normally learn about culture through family, school, and temples, their busy schedules often limit the depth of exploration into their own heritage. Academic lessons on cultural topics beyond school curriculum can be overwhelming, and delving into original texts can be tedious for young inquisitive minds.

Indic Roots was founded by Kritarth Yudhish and Sudhanshu Shekhar to address this challenge. The app offers a fun approach to introducing cultural topics to children aged 3 to 10, aiming to have a lasting positive impact on their young minds. The seven key themes - Indic Heroes, Indic Temples, Indic Dances, Indic Festivals, Indic Yugas, Indic Calendar Months, and Vishnu Avatars - are designed to spark curiosity and provide an interactive platform for learning.

Each theme is colorfully hand-drawn to captivate children's attention and is complemented by audio narration for easy pronunciation learning. By scrolling through the categories and selecting specific topics of interest, kids can engage in both educational learning with the 'learn' function and enjoyable drag-and-drop matching games using the 'play' feature.

• INDIC HEROES: Introduces renowned figures from Indian history with names alphabetically arranged from A-Z.
• INDIC TEMPLES: Showcases 12 significant temples from India and around the world.
• INDIC DANCES: Explores India's diverse dance forms alphabetically from A-Z.
• INDIC FESTIVALS: Introduces major cultural celebrations.
• INDIC CALENDAR: Presents Indic month names along with corresponding English months and related festivals.
• INDIC YUGAS: Covers the concept of the four yugas in Indian philosophy.
• VISHNU AVATAR: Explores the ten avatars or incarnations of Lord Vishnu.

In addition to learning opportunities, children can participate in entertaining drag-and-match games within each category to earn points. Completing all matches within a category unlocks a specialized jackpot game offering rewards such as soft toys. Future plans include expanding themes, characters, and languages with community support and feedback.
